It would be no fun if we hated him just for being Portugese & it would give the tabloids less to fill up the back pages (and most of the front pages) with.

yes the english are angry with ronaldo instaed of facing upto the fact that they were not good enough to go all the way. ronaldo and sven are the scapegoats. yes the pair did play a part though smnall. but the fact is the team was not playing well enough to warrant the opportunity to hold that cup. my country did not even make but i would have been well pissed of if they had made it, i mean ghana and ivory coast played better than them. I wonder what would have happened if they were in the same groups.

He is a bit of a tit. Dives too much, gets people sent off, looks and acts like a girl. Personally I've given up caring about him but a lot of other English people still want to rip his face off with a crowbar.
I've gotta agree with yvone. He may be a tit but it wasn't his fault England didn't win the World Cup. I don't even think it was Svens fault. If the players that Sven put on that pitch weren't good enough to win that match then it's the players faults. It seems a bit harsh but they should have tryed harder instead of blaming some stupid Portuguese ponce.
