It's such a deceptive question.
I wouldn't be happy if I had everything I wanted.
I'm working right now on becoming happy. I thought it had to do with money, location, a better job. But the answer isn't out there, it's within. We all have the ability to live happy, but it isn't easy to achieve.
My happy life would include accepting my strengths and limits. It would lie in the knowledge that there will always be someone brighter, prettier, kinder, funnier and braver, but that who I am is enough. In my happy life, I would open my eyes to what I have and consider myself lucky. I would open my eyes and realize that being is a miracle in itself and that I am privileged to walk the earth, smell a flower, see a sunset, hold someone's hand, feel the grass beneath my feet.
To want nothing and instead be thankful for what I have is the start of my journey.

If you want a life on the beach, it can be done very inexpensively.. if you are willing to keep it simple - many dreams don't require alot of money. There are beautiful beaches here in Thailand and the fish are jumpin..
As for me, my happy life is living in this unique exotic culture with these funny and charming people and having the freedom to pursue my curiousities.. I write. I paint. I learn language and culture.. The food is good - the fruits are amazing - but, the best is the freedom to explore.. good life indeed!!

i could say i'm pleased with my life precise now. of direction, the end results of your life relies upon greater often than not on your selections. you're in a combat as a results of fact of a few thing you stated or did. That stressful female follows you around as a results of fact she likes your character. that is all approximately comparing your life and determining which sacrifices are properly worth it and which will make issues worse interior the long-term. of direction there are organic mess ups, shootings, and issues in basic terms God can administration, yet for the main area, your life is on your hands. to no count if your life gets greater effective or worse as you grow previous, it somewhat is, as quickly as lower back, as much as you.

I would have to say me in the forest with just a knife and a saw blade. I would love to live back in the 13 century America. I would love the forest, the hard work and reward of my efforts, and the satisfactory of completing something I know will be used and enjoyed and shared. I like the kind of community of the Natives then.

i have had a long introspective year on this subject. the man i love most in the world is in iraq. he left in november and is stationed in ar ramadi in iraq. its been given the title "the most dangerous place to be deployed"
he had a 120mm mortar land 20 feet in front of him and bury itself 6 feet into the ground.
it was a dud.
my fears of his safety have driven me to imagine what our lives are like...
i don't wake during the night to explosions. i don't fear walking around a corner. i don't have to worry about firefights damaging my house. my streets are quiet at night, full of kids and families during the day.
when my husband left in november. i was eight months pregnant with our first child. our baby boy was born jan 6th. his dad couldn't be there. he didn't even get to know until hours after. we got a phone call...
yet.
i see the blessings i have. a healthy happy six month old (who met his dad at four months old for two weeks). i see lives of freedoms and choices around me. i have made it my life to understand what is happening on the foreign sands my husband patrols.
so all that to lead up to my answer...
if i could have anything and everything i ever wanted...i'm sure i would be overwhelmingly happy...
but.
all i need is his safe return.
i just want to have my family together.
THAT is my happy life.
i have learned perspective...

Right now I'd be happy just to have someone come over and clean my house. Especially the litterbox. OK, maybe a few other servants would be nice.
