It is when your friends or other the same age as you or in the same group as you influence your decisions. They pressure you to do something that you might not normally do such as smoke a cigarette.

You are either too young to be here or have terrible teachers. Peer pressure is when your friends do something, like smoking, and they offer you a piece, like a cigarette. You're obliged to take it to keep up the relationship, because they might think less of you if you don't, but don't give in to them if you know its not right. Peer pressure can also be your friends telling you to join a club or team because they have confidence in you.

When you have a group of friends all about the same age, teenager. They can influence each other. P.e. wearing the same clothes, because they want to be a member of the group or worse use drugs, be a gang member, etc. Most of the time they act in groups. If there is someone who doesn't wants to participate they put pressure on him or her so he/she will joint them

d) This is completely external to self which creates expections based on what others do or want or say.
Example: When you are teen age kid and you don't want to have your parents to come to school to pick you up it is because of your peer pressure from your friends in your school who will make fun of you if they see your parents come to pick you up
Another one: When you working, you get peer pressure from your colleagues arising from their standard of service, qualities, performance or class.

when people around you are pressuring/asking you to do something you don't really want to or know you will regret later on in a forceful but subtle manner.
