Don't waste your money on that stuff.... save up for a down on a newer car. But if you are going to do that stuff.... look for online communities/ forums about 98 civics. Those guys usually have loads of stuff that they want to sell or even trade and it's pretty cheap. I would start with the suspension.... buy some Eibach springs (pro kit). It'll cost around $250+ for a set. Well worth it!!

Putting decent rims and tires THAT FIT on it isn't a bad thing but I would invest my money in STP Son of a Gun spray, rags and McGuires cleaning and polishing products and decide against any expensive, unnecessary modifications. Keep it clean, keep it factory original, and follow your maintenance schedule religiously and you will have a much better ride that doesn't lose it's value.
Be proud in doing it all yourself by getting the factory service manual from www.helminc.com. Invest your money in tools and take the knowledge you gain to all your cars. You will save tons of bucks keeping it running as designed instead of padding the pockets of your local repair shops.

leave it stock so it holds its resell value and you dont look like a ******. you will get more girls and respect if you drive a stock civic than if you rice it out. Civics are a shitty car to modify.
