Please explain your choice.
Im currently looking to buy a new one. My ipod mini broke (no surprise) and I need to buy a new one for a trip in about 2 weeks time. I don't really think Im gonna go for another ipod (even video) but if that's your fave choice, tell me why.
I need lots of space.
(more then 4gb.. atleast 8gb if not more)
good battery life,
good price,
all that stuff. (and preferably wall charger included)

I'm scared to get another ipod, after all the trouble I had with my last one. (even though it was a mini and was shortly after taken off the market) but still. The battery died on me.Meaning it would only last me 15 minutes before it shut off on me, fully charged. And then i ruined my wall charger cord (my fault.. i accidently drowned it..) then it woudlnt connect to itunes or the comp itself. it wouldnt charge at all by anything.

hmm well thats about it. And I agree the new ipods (video) does meet all my needs, except for one. Wall charger included.. stupid apple deciding not to include them anymore, so i'd have to buy one. extra money.

I congratulate you for considering a Creative, and not another iPod.

The Creative Zen Vision: M is the best large-capacity player, HANDS-DOWN. It's customizable, and has a great screen along with a wide range of features such as radio and video playback. It has solid battery life.

The Toshiba Gigabeat S is also good. It has worse battery life than the Creative, but looks a lot sleeker and it's more compact.

A 5G iPod Video. I will give you a whole bunch of reasons why it is worth it (I have one by the way.) First, it can hold 7500 songs. You don't see many MP3 Players that can do that do you? The PSP can hold songs, but not a lot and if you want a lot you have to buy expensive memory for it. Also, the video capabilities option is wonderful. Since the vidoes are always large files, the 30GB harddrive will come in handy instead of a $100 1GB flash memory card. I have at least 100 videos on mine, a bunch of south park episodes, the simpsons, family guy, and 10 movies on top of that, and still room for 750 songs and over 400 photos, with 5GB to spare for whatever I want. Plus the 5G iPod has a 2.5" display, which may seem small compaired to something like the PSP, but you will get used to it quickly and won't care. And the iPod is one of the very few mp3 players that can be hacked. I mean the real deal, playing Doom, Half-Life, Quake, and more games on it, writing text documents on it, painting pictures on it, and a whooole lot more. Look into iPod Linux, Rockbox, and iPod Wizard (for more info on this, go to http://iPodForum.co.nr/ . And I could go on an on all day about why you should get the iPod Video. One other reason: once you have it in your hand the first time, you will never put it down. It's got a great look and I take mine everywhere. To school, on the bus, to the mall, my friends' houses, I even listen to it when I'm falling asleep. I'm addicted to it. I love it. If you get one then you will definately know what I am talking about. By the way, I was just talking about the 30GB iPod. If you get the 60GB iPod, then you can double everything I said which would be even better (the 60GB iPod is $400 and the 30GB is $300.) Good luck with your decision.

CD gamers i'm no longer waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... possibly whilst i'm 40 in the event that they do no longer seem to be previous with the aid of then (i'm 29). I genuinely have had my digicam for 3 years and there continues to be in all possibility a bunch of stuff i don't understand the thank you to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and shooting is particularly plenty all i will do with my cell telephone. i do no longer want to circulate with the aid of all the concern of downloading songs just to hearken to them each time everywhere without the skipping or scratching.

I have a diferent suggestion!
You can buy a DVD discman (it's really cheap).
Then write songs on a mp3-DVD.
Here you can get a blank DVD of any capacity ( from 4.7 gb to 30 gb)

About battery life prefer Sony®.

Try this one.

get a cheap low capacity mp3 player like a rio forge and then spend $40 and get a 2gb sd card for it. or if you want to spend a bit more get an I river. they are nice and play ogg files (also expandable with sd cards)

how many songs did you have on your broken ipod for .99 each?

Mpio mp3 players or the CUBE (Hyon Wah) mp3 players, the sound is so great! Also they run on usb so you dont need any annoying programs, just drag and drop!
