My Father was. He was kind to everyone and helped everyone he could. He would go with out to give us things. He would feed people he knew didnt have any thing he would work and help on farms if the farmer or his hands got sick. He took care of his friends dad when he got sick and lost his leg. I could go on and on. When he got very ill and had to retire at the age of 47 So many people rallied we were amazed. They bought us a new furnace while he was in the hospital. men would bring us turkeys and all this stuff. And help with our garden and their wives would bring home made jelly and all kinds of stuff this was in the 70's My dad died in 1979 and there were so many people at his funeral they had to use 3 rooms and they filled 3 guest books. OVER WHELMING. To this day i have people say you know we just loved your dad. They tell my mother this too.
