Well, firstly, there's plastic surgery, tummy tucks, etc. There's also simple photoshopping that can be done.

2 things: -The majority of celebrities represent less than 5% of the population, meaning 95% of people will NEVER look like them, no matter what. -A number of celebrities DO have this problem, and wear body makeup to cover it. Dermablend makeup is used for this. Anyone can buy it. In early stages, laser can be used to fade stretch marks. Most average people can't afford this. Celebrities also have personal chefs and trainers to make sure they stay around the same weight year-round. Don't feel bad. Having stretch marks (and they will fade with time) does not cancel out your beauty. P.S. Self tanning cream can hide and Retin A cream from your doctor can fade stretch marks.

I've had three kids and have no stretch marks except little ones around my breast area. I kept a bottle of baby oil in the shower and before I got out, I would slather it on everywhere that was expanding. Everyone in my family ended up with stretch marks, so I don't know if I was just lucky or if the baby oil worked. Elasticity in the skin is what helps. If you keep it moisturized, then your chances are lower.

Well, I don't see what the big deal is in stretch marks. They aren't "grotesque" to me. There are worse "blemishing" items than stretch marks, which are difficult to avoid. If celebrities don't have 'em, (which I've never noticed whether they do or not because it's not a big deal to me) then it's probably just a manifest of having their own personal trainer, health & beauty advisor, and whatever other luxuries result from the life of "immediate fulfillment."

This is kind of sad, but I heard from a nanny that many celebrities have their babies at 7 months, either induced or by C-section, to avoid stretch marks and other physical effects. It seems the OB-Gyns who cater to celebrities approve or even encourage this practice. Their bodies are their livelihood, I guess...

Everyone who has been pregnant or gains weight gets stretchmarks at some point in their life. The magazines just airbrush the pictures so they look perfect.
If you're looking for something to help, Ive heard of maderma - an over the counter product that is supposed to help for stretch marks and scars.

in photos and on tv they airbrush the stretch marks out by using some computer software... otherwise, they have surgery or lots of microdermabrasion done so it's not as visible or not even there anymore.

They get stretch marks. They are mostly concealed on photographs by airbrushing, makeup, lighting etc.

Remember celebrities have many employees that make them look good.
And it's called air brushing. You can re-touch pictures to make them look how ever you want.

They have lots of tricks you don't know about. Airbrush, make-up, silicon treatments, and of course, they have a lot of people and products that help them to avoid them in the first place.
