She must be very insecure. If you have never given here a reason to not trust you, I don't see why it is a problem if you have female friends. It would be a problem if you were spending a lot of time with them, but if they are just casual friends it shouldn't be a problem.

First, get your balls back.
You need to tell her that you have a life outside of her. Yes, she is an important part, but she is not the ONLY part of your life. If she can not deal with other friends, then she needs to either change that attitude or find someone else. You don't want to go through life being restricted.

How would you feel if your gf had guyfriends? My point exactly. She doesn't want you to be cheating on her. This happens to be in every relationship. But if you want a girl as a friend, gain her trust, and, ask her if you could have a girl as a friend(i guess).

Because she's probably super jealous and suspicious of you, is why. Girls are like that at times. Guys are just as bad about it as well, when their girls have guy friends, they tend to get a bit overprotective.
