Possible signs of pregnancy
No period or amenorrhea; other potential causes of this include fatigue, stress, hormonal problems, illness, extreme weight gain or loss, going off the pill and breastfeeding
Just "feeling" pregnant
Nausea and vomiting; this usually occurs two to eight weeks after conception and can also be caused by such things as food poisoning, stress or infections
Enlargement and soreness of the breasts; this is also seen during pre-menstruation and with birth control pill use
Increased urination; this can also be a sign of urinary tract infection, stress, or diabetes
Fatigue
Ptyalism (Excessive salivation)
Stretch marks
Spider veins
Quickening (fetal movement); some people often confuse this with gas or bowel contractions.
Chadwick's Sign (bluish tinge to the vagina and cervix); this is also seen occasionally with impending menstruation
Colostrum from breasts
Probable signs of pregnancy
Enlarged abdomen; this can also be a sign of uterine fibroids or a tumor
Positive pregnancy test
Change in uterine shape
Softening of the cervix (Goodell's Sign)
Enlarging uterus
Braxton Hicks contractions
Palpation of the baby
Ballottement
Palpation of the uterine artery

I felt premenstrual. Sore breasts, crampy, tired & the need for ice cream. That is how I realized I was pregnant with my son. I wanted some ice cream and it was about 10 at night. I was wearing my pajamas, so I was just going to go through the drive thru of DQ, but they were closed. I tried a couple of other places, but they were either closed or ice cream machine was down. So I found myself driving around crying because I couldn't find ice cream and was not about to go into the grocery store in my pj's.

Some of the earliest symptoms of pregnancy tend to be tender breasts. Many times the areolas (dark part around the nipple) will also darken and you may notice more veins there. Also, fatigue starts early on. Usually "morning sickness" and such won't come around quite that early, though in some it does.

My first sign other than a missed period was my boobs. They became very sore and sensitive, and they were hard! They were also bigger than normal.
I also had extreme fatigue, and I was extremely bloated!
Lots of fun :)

My sense of smell increased. It was really weird. That is how I always knew I was pregnant. With my youngest, I thought I had the flu. I was very tired and sick to my stomach.

Tender, sore breasts! Definately. Also, for me, cravings and an increased sense of smell.
