Is there a very, super-tiny hole that you can insert a needletip into? I've had to do that a few times after loading some new songs. It would just freeze up. FYI an MP3 by Creative is not the same as an iPod. It's just "MP3 player." (-:

iPod is a mp3 player that's produced by Apple. Often people use the term "iPod" when they mean an mp3 player, that's how great the product it is.

To better answer the question, it would help if we knew the exact model that you have. I would suggest that you look through the owners manual and check the Troubleshoot sections. You can also check the Creative website for more Troubleshooting tips.
