Superhero= Spiderman, hands down... not only does he have awesome powers, but he's also a genius (made his own web-shooters) AND the so-called "proffesional wall-flower", a title that I can relate to.
Supervillian= Magneto, he's the only villian I know of that's not only formidable to a team on his own (nearly unbeatable in a straight forward battle) but is also extremely rationalized in his positions, I would do the same thing if I went through what he did

Batman is my favorite superhero. I like the idea of a normal guy with no super powers defeating all these different people. My favorite villain has to be Shredder from the Ninja Turtles. A man of few words is more intimidating than anything. His attitude is deadly itself.

My favorite hero always has been DareDevil...even Ben Afflect can't screw that up (not the role my preference). I enjoy the storyline of the never gets a break hero. One who sacrifices everything for his beliefs.
My fav. Villain is probably, Mr. Mxyzptlk. Not the most ominous, but truly an interesting creation. Love to see him play with the mind of Sups

I'm definitely an X-men fan, as you can tell from my moniker. Of course, you could also guess my favorite superhero, I'm sure.
But as for favorite supervillain, I'd have to go with Apocalypse. The world's first mutant sure has made it rough for Professor X and his denizens of Graymalkin Lane!

Superman...I mean c'mon he was unbeatable in his pre-crisis ORIGIONAL form (60's-70's). Guys really, Superman was too strong so the comic writers had to reduce his powers! Thats how powerful he was. Not only that but blowing away a galaxy in the first #10-#15 comics by sneazing as a baby is ridiculously powerful.
Doomsday. He killed Superman! Nobody else has done that using raw power, not just using kryptonite. (Although Doomsday would be no match against Pre-Crisis Superman)

Although technically not a superhero (he has no special powers), I go with Batman.
For the villian, can't sell short Magneto

Favorite superhero would probably have to be Superman or Wolverine. Their powers are sweet.
As for my favorite super villian, probably between Brainiac or Magneto.
