asking inappropriate sex questions or 2) are there just a lot of young children on board trying to impress everyone with their sex talk AND 3) do you think it is going to kill the Yahoo answer forum as people steer clear of the muck or 4) do you find pages of senseless questions interesting?

It looks like your first answer proves your point. I tend to see many of the questions as falling into 3 major categories:
1. Questions by someone who thinks they are so terribly funny when they talk dirty/or ask inappropriate sex questions.
2. "Questions" by someone who has an extreme hatred or dislike for certain political/religious/racial/social groups.
3. Unbelievably obvious "questions" that someone asks, hopefully for fun (can ANYONE be so stupid as to ask....)
It is sad that some people feel the need to ask these kinds of "questions," but fortunately, there are enough sensible questions to make Yahoo! Questions worth visiting.
But I agree that Yahoo! Questions does have evidence of deterioration.

I liked Lokie's answer.I do get tired of all the inane questions but I just search harder for the better ones.I am with her in that at least we can stop the kids from being on-line but it is getting harder to stop them from seeing something on TV sense every other commercial is aimed toward the adults in the family.Yahoo has a hard enough time as it is without reporting every one here who uses harsh words or speak about sex.

i think if something offends you, you don't have to look... it's much easier than bitc*ing about it and caring so much... worry about the tampon and Viagra adds on television... at least with yahoo answers you can sensor your children... don't you dare watch the news w/ children present though... worry about important wars, that's all I'm saying.
