Am I the only woman out here who doesn't wear make up?

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I saw a woman who had a "naked" face. (Even women who are at the gym working out wear makeup). Don't get me wrong...I have nothing against make up, if it's applied correctly. It just doesn't do it for me...I sweat in the summer and it rubs off, takes too much time to put on, have to reapply certain things every so often.

Anyone else out there like me, or am I alone? :)

Edit: Something just hit me...I think a big reason I don't wear it is that my mom (who, ironically enough, sold Mary Kay on the side when I was growing up, lol!) never taught me how to apply it. Maybe that's it. :)

Nope! You're not alone! I haven't worn a drop of make up in so long, I'd be afraid to wear what I have! It's probably way past it's intended life span! LOL If the world can't look upon my natural face and see what my hubby fell in love with, then that's their problem! I am me and will NOT hide behind a mask of make up just to make myself more pleasing to the world and gain their acceptance! VIVA LA AU NATURAL!

I don't wear makeup unless it's a very special occasion and even then I wear next to nothing. I hate the way it feels. I feel like my skin is dirty. None of my friends wear it either. So basically... you're not alone, considering all the replies you got!

I just wonder if that comment was meant to make you feel better about yourself. Covering up more than you gambled for with that makeup, hmm?

I wish I didn't feel like I have to wear it! My skin is very uneven and foundation does the trick.... If I felt confident enough to go naked, I sure would! But I know my make-up certainly tones down in the summer--super light tinted foundation/moisturizer/sunscreen, a dab of eyeshadow, lip gloss (clear) with spf, and some waterproof mascara.

I don't. And for the same reasons. It's just annoying applying it. I'll wear makeup at some special ocaisoins, but not usually. My friends are always telling me to wear makeup more often, but I never listen.

I would LOVE to be like you. I know I always wear makeup b/c I'm just not comfortable with the way I look without it. I am always amazed at how wonderful some women look without any makeup! I think it requires a mix of natural beauty and confidence--congrats!

Thats Probably True. But I think we are almost expected to wear makeup... I agree with lucy beagle.... I dont like puting it on every day but i have pretty light hair and I cant get a fake tan, im just really white..... with out makeup i look kinda spooky / ghostly and it just makes me look more my age Not 15!! lol

Im 19 schooling in an art institution and im already hook to make up. Honestly speaking, its great that u dun rely much on make up cos first, its a waste of money and second, u dun waste time putting it on like what u mention. Now whenever i go out, i will always have make up on my face cos i feel weird without it.

You are not the only one that doesn't wear make- up. Wearing make- up is not the only way to look great! There ARE other ways. Just 4 easy steps!!!!!!!
Step 1: Wash face. Step 2: Tone face. Step 3: Add moisturizer. Step 4: Add lip balm to lips.

I don't wear make up. I don't know if I ever will. I don't really care what people think of me; if they like the way i look with make up, what would they think when they saw me without it? They might be horrified! lol. So better introduce the real deal right away. . .If they don't like it, get a blindfold or go somewhere else.

I don't apply makeup if I go to work... Natural beauty rocks!! I only apply makeup if there are certain special occassions like a Wedding or Ball, any of those sorts... ;)
