I have two sons with eczema so i know your frusteration. I found a suggestion at a homeremedies site that said crisco! i thought they were crazy until i tried it, and it does help especially if you use it at night, also i just tried some biosilk (usually for hair) a few days ago and the results seem promising. be careful of what soaps you use as this seems to irritate it the worst. I have also had to do everyother bath time with just water and no soap when it gets REALLY bad. hope this helps

Been There and like you we tried all that stuff.. but unlike you my son had it as an infant and has since out grown it.. the cream that i found most helped him was Aveeno for eczema and they also make a body wash... you have tried a lot of steroid creams and they still don't help so i doubt the Aveeno would but it won't hurt to try!! Good Luck!!! i know how you feel right now.. Helpless!! Do you give him anything orally for the itching like Benadryl? that sometimes helps too...

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

If the mom was being raptured, she would be gone instantly, literally "in the blink of an eye." She wouldn't have the opportunity to deny Jesus. The mom would have done everything possible to make sure that her child knew about Jesus, about what it means to be a true Christian believer. She would have taken her child to Sunday School, to Sunday church services. She would have had her child enrolled in a church youth group and/or summer camp, where the child would have learned more about being a believer, and she would have been offered opportunities to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior. The child may have had opportunities to go to concerts/performances featuring Christian artists. If possible, the mom would have enrolled her child in a private Christian school. The mom would have been praying for her child at least once every day, probably more often. Jesus said that following Him can result in there being a sword separating husband from wife, parent from child. The mom would have known that and would have known that ultimately her child would have been responsible for making her own choice about whether or not to be a Christian believer. Once the mom is raptured, she will be instantly in the presence of Jesus, and all else will fade away as she looks at her Savior face to face, eye to eye. If you are this child, then I pray that Jesus will make Himself known to you so that you have no doubt about who He is and how you can make your choice for Him.

many dermatologists i have been in contact with suggest using cetaphil lotion for eczema to keep the skin moist. my mom has terrible eczema on her palms, and she got some cetaphil to put throughout the house - one in her bedroom one by the kitchen. everytime she passes the bottle, she used it. her eczema cleared up so quickly!

cetaphil can be bought anywhere - walmart, walgreens, etc. its about $9-10 a bottle but very much worth it.

I used to get eczema as well, mine got set off by perfumed things like bubble baths etc. Pinetarsol soap and bath liquid helps, its pretty expensive but its worth it, see if your chemist has it. I had a variety of different creams prescribed to me too, but I learnt that its easier to just avoid things that affect me. Try using dove soap and sensitive skin washing detergent.

Hope that helps.

Hydrocortisone cream. Additionally, Lidex (floucinonide) can help clear it up. Check your son's diet, too. Certain food allergies, in addition to the heat, can cause flare ups.

Hydrogen peroxide on the sites can help minimize infections. Any time he has been sweating profusely, get him in the bath tub. Make sure that his fingernails stay clean, ESPECIALLY if he is known to scratch.

I would suggest a light corticosteroid, though. Talk to his doc about it.

Try Aveeno lotions and soaps. They contain oatmeal. It helps control the itch which in turn controls the eczema. Have him take baths instead of showers because soaking in the bath can aggrivate it.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/7XsVB

Have you tried to sooth the areas first with Aloe Vera 100% Gel .The gel must be pure or it will sting, then use Hydrocortisone cream. I picked up a drugstore brand at Brooks and it also had Aloe Vera in it .Aloe can be used on sun burn, contact dermiatitis, Poison Ivy and all the rest of those nasty plant rashes. It is good for burns, bites, scrapes. In liquid form you can drink it for stomach problems. The list goes on. My friend had a rod put in his hip after a bike accident .The hospital asked us to bring in aloe plants, this is what they used to heal his wound.keep the faith and my heart goes out to you and your child.I 'll keep you and your son in my prayers.......snowflake
