is the Internet an imaginary place or something we can touch?

Question

if it is imaginary would that make me invisible or non-existent?

and if it is something we can touch, would you let someone touch you or would you turn off your computer now that you know that you are within reach?

The Internet in of itself is imaginary or invisible. However, the people that use it are very much real. It bothers me alot when people get on a puter and enter a chat room or forum like this and treat others badly. Name calling, bashing and so on isn't necessary because the people at the other end still have feelings and it can and does effect them. It's very wrong to sit behind a puter and use the Internet to hide because you'd probably never say alot of the things you say on here in person. Many of us use the Internet to "reach out and touch somebody".

There are some very rude, STRANGE people on this site that I wouldn't want to meet in a crowed room, let alone allow them to touch me!!! Then there are the wonderful people who write to me and open up their hearts...either with kind words, helpful hints or a thank you. The internet has opened up a whole new world for me. I learn something new every day! I spend hours devising what I think are clever questions. I keep track of who answered with a correct/witty/spiritual/unusual/etc answer. One or two people have been a nuisance. Have you noticed the names people have chosen to represent themselves? I think they chose VERY appropiate names, as they reveal their character to everyone. Thank you for an interesting question.
