Metallica may employ more technology and even possibly better skill (generically), but AC/DC was truly a pioneer of their generation -- not just being good in their genre, but virtually defining a new one. My vote: AC/DC, although both kick.

ACDC with BON SCOTT....now there was an AWESOME BAND.....the new singer is fair, but screeches to sing the songs.......Brian Johnson?
There is NO OTHER BAND OUT THERE LIKE ACDC and as for Metallica, yes they are all VERY TALENTED musicians, but not even close to ACDC....
The "boys" in Metallica probably bow down to ACDC......hey, I think they even did a cover version of ACDC's SOngs a while back......LETS JUST SAY,,,,,,ACDC IS A ROCK BAND......and METALLICA IS A HEAVY METAL ROCK BAND WITH TEETH........

ACDC...especially with Bon Scott...they were pretty much equal when Jason Newsted was with Metallica...but now, just listen to St. Anger, very sad.
