We just had one installed. Heat pump / AC. All tolled, taxes in it was $6400 Canadian for a 4000 square foot house. You can probably get a smaller unit for a bit less.

About $9,000. unit, electrical, ducts, labor, the works. That's a high end unit price, too. You should be able to get it done for less if you look around and don't get tricked into buying crap you don't need.

I am not sure. But, you should be able to get a low interest rate loan from your bank. Because, they get "points" from the govenment to help people. Shop around, I believe it should not be more than $3000.00 or $4000.00 dollars. Good Luck.

It's going to run about 3 grand. They have to run all the vents and everything. Labor is going to eat your lunch
