Here's a snippet from a news story:

"The CIA officer whose identity was leaked to reporters sued Vice President Dick Cheney, his former top aide and presidential adviser Karl Rove on Thursday, accusing them and other White House officials of conspiring to destroy her career."

seriously people. This woman Valerie Plame. come on. she wasn't some secret-agent woman out there playing James Bond. she was a clerk for the CIA, a desk jockey. her husband wrote an article for the New York Times, using information he got from a classified trip.
they weren't exactly secret operatives with hidden identities.
so Dick Cheney is talking about her in an interview, Bob Novak prints it, and she's all mad because her "cover is blown."

Yes, it's true he's getting sued.
Probably, and he probably told Bush to say that he authorized good ole Dick to leak the information.
This story should have been closed out over a year ago, but apparently I'm the only one who saw it coming.

It seems to me the person who published the info should be sued. There is no strong evidence that Cheney is the one who leaked it. He has not been indicted. Sounds very political to me. There would never been a problem if the info was never published. Why is he off the hook? By publishing the info doesn't that equal disclosure?

You would like Cheney to go down, huh. Too bad, that's not going to happen. That woman is a mere desk clerk in the CIA, whose husband has been said to have publicly disclosed her employer in the past.

No the liberal media twisted facts to suit thier agenda. It wasnt Cheney himself that allegedly leaked information, but one of his aides. As I said these are allegations, but if they are true then would come to the point where we would need to find out if there was a connection to Spanky himself.
