My right foot hurts a lot and I can't figure out why. I can't get into the doctors until the end of the week so I am trying to figure out what's wrong, maybe there's something I can do until then.

Pain in the arch and/or heel of your foot; exquisite pain in the morning (out of bed) or when standing after prolonged sitting/resting; pain with prolonged walking (like shopping).

Treatment options: anti-inflammatory meds, ice (recommend putting a water bottle in the freezer, and then rolling your arch on the frozen water bottle), gentle stretching, and rest.

You probably pulled the muscle at the bottom of your foot...Or maybe you just stepped wrong while walking..
