For example, I've seen things like "click here" written into a message and you can click on it as a link. How do you form a link like that?

You can add addtitional effects like underlining , increasing font , colouring etc.

Like when you want it to be in a sentence....

"Copy" the url (highlight and right click "copy") and "paste" (right click) it where you want it. I once asked this same question at this site. To "copy" (if "copy" doesn't work) you may have to right click "select all" and go back again and right click "copy".
