Korean cars have dramatically improved. However, they are still inferior in terms of quality, safety, reliablilty, features, to Japanese cars. Korean cars are the lower priced versions of American cars. They are great values, but they don't hold up in the long run. Buy or lease a Honda or Toyota instead.

I didn't have a KIA Spectra,I had a KIA Sohia.It was a good car.With the exception of one time I did not have any problems with it.Good gas mileage nice car.

Kia is a good car to lease but I wouldn't own one. After 100,000 they go to ****. Trust me i work on a lot of cars in my profession.

I drove a 2002 (I think) for about ayear with no problems. It was really kind of a cool car. I gave it up for my bike, though and I've been happy ever since.

I have a sportage and have had no real problems with it. Keep in mind they have the 100k warranties.
