Good grief, politicians are sad gits who want to be loved (and justified) they want their paragraphs in the history books. To be fair though I would not call G.W.Bush anything other than a corporate patsy and Blair a slimy money grubbing tosser.

Personal gain of course! And YES it could be for personal gain. Keep in mind, Bush isn't just a president, he's got business ties, family members with business ties, and probably friends with ties, too. Also, it could be about having an excuse to look good while in office since he's really not doing much else useful. But then again, maybe he really is that much of a jerk to think he is really making progress. Oh well. Does anyone else think that this whole Iraq crap has been prolonged for the sake of driving up oil prices to pad his buddies' pockets? I do.

Since both of them live in Democracies, it can only be that they're trying to sort things out for the good of the world. But please don't rule out the rest of the United Nations who are also trying to sort this out.
I think your grasp of the situation is somewhat limited. Can I reccomend that you peruse the Yahoo News clips for updates on the status of the world? Or, perhaps change the channel from the cartoon station to CNN once in a while!

obviously you are in favor of terrorists. Are you one?! Because
if you think it is for personal gain you are whacked.
It would also help if someone else besides the U.S. and Great
Brittain could do some of the work for a change! Everyone always
expects to be helped out but never helps with anything. It's nice
to see someone else like Israel taking a stand against terrorism
for a change.

They can't personally gain nothing from what they are doing. They are doing what's right for us and the world. Other countries are just to cowardly to do what we have to do.

They are doing it because they are expected to get it done for everyone else. It's not like Peru or Tonga could do it.
