Other than a few states that require minimum wage, it's waiters and waitresses. They make about $2.15 an hour, but are taxed as if they are making at least minimum wage.

A summer camp counselor. At least at the Christian camp I worked at, counselors got paid $125 a week! A week. And we're pretty much working all day and all night with the kids, cuz it's not a day camp! The kids don't leave at the end of the day; they stay, and the counselor has to stay with them.

I've been a server before, and I made about $100.00 a day.

We're taxed on our wage and our tips.
If a server can't make enough tips to make decent money, then he's gotta find a new job.

In fact, it's probably the highest paid, easiest learned job for people who are having a tough time making it through. I took the reins at two restaurants once, 2 6 hour shifts a day, 6 days a week, and I maxed out over $1500.00 one week. And usually averaged below that, but still plenty enough to survive.

Least legal possible pay is probably mimimum wage 1 hour a week. It can happen if you get really ill on the job and can't work the rest of the week. I guess on server salary it's be the worst. Ha.

That depends on how you look at it. I know a guy who gets paid "salary" $300 bucks a week. But he works 60 hours. Breaks down to 5 an hour, less than state minimum.
I personally make 7 an hour, but I only get about 25 hours a week. So I only bring home about 150.
Waitresses might only make minimum wage, but their tips usually make up for it. They work for their money, I'll give them that. But I'll never leave my job on a Friday night and say I made an extra hundred bucks, no matter how hard I have to work.
