I used to have an 85 Chevy Caprice Classic. I named her Carrie, cause she would always carry me home. I stripped out 3 transmissions (automatic, not manual) & got hit (wether I was in the car or not) on average about every 3 weeks. I loved that car! I also happen to have in my driveway 2 1964 SS Impalas. One I'm still restoring.

Had a 95 and traded Big Blue (Chevy Caprice) in for a Caddy. I'm sorry I did that!

I have an 88. The 305 shucked out at about 200,000 miles, so now I have a 350 rebuilt with headers and dual exhaust. About 40,000 miles on the new engine. I also put in a replacement cruise control, remote keyless entry, and various other little fixes and stuff. I love it.

My father does, and it's a fine car. They were used as police cars in Chicago for several years without problems. Why do you ask, or is it a secret?
