I would like to know how to go about being friendlier.

It all starts with the desire. You question is an expression of this desire. Keep expressing this desire in different ways. Mostly just be natural and look for those natural segues. If you try to force it you will come across as desperate and either no one will want to hang out with you, or they might our of compassion or pity appease you. It is hard to avoid people. They are all around us. Don't be afraid to smile and say hey. Maybe you like what someones wearing you could compliment them on it. Maybe you have certain hobbies and interests that others share. Try to get involved in a group that also shares these interest and naturally bonds will form as they should. Don't rush it or have expectation. If people are mean to you they are not the type of friend you would want. There are plenty of cool people you just need to surround yourself around the right group and the rest will do its magic. Overall always be kind, & be willing to be helpful. It's hard to resist such people as we naturally love those who love us. Of course some will be grouches but don't let that get you down. Let it roll off of u as the universe tests us from time to time. Have faith and it will happen. Lose faith and you'll lose your hope causing things to become a self fulfilling prophecy. Project the positive and the universe will reflect it back in time.

Depending upon your age, and I'm not pushing religion but there are youth groups in churches and it is very easy and fun to meet new people of all ages. You can find some of the nicest people and honest people, if you are looking for REAL friends.

Make one friend at a time. If the person has friends you might make more that way. Even in large groups of friends, there is usually a few pairs of friends. Everyone isn't friends with everyone.

well 1st things 1st don't give away your stuff nor your money that doesnt get a friend. be yourself and talk to people. but when you make friends make sure you pick friends instead of people who say they are your friends but really use you. tell jokes and be friendly to people. don't lie to people to try to get them to like you b/c then your life just becomes harder and more complicated, just get out and be you and have fun.

Just be urself, be friendly, be funny, easy to get alone with, easy to talk too and make everyone around u feel welcome, be there for ur friends and always be fair.
