I am using a Speedstream 4100 modem

It is pretty simple. I have the same hardware. Since the Local IP of modem and Dlink are same. I had to re-configure my Dlink to different LAN. I configure DLink to have the LAN ip as 192.200.1.1 and i kept Modem for regular PPP protocol.

There should be no real problem. Just log in to the router, then use the setp wizard. It will want you to enter the user name and password you use on your SBC Yahoo account.
