Stephen King. Almost all of his books are so good.

The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
It's basically the story of King Arthur told from the viewpoint of the three most important women in his life - Morgaine (sister), Gwynefar (wife) and his mother (Igraine). I'm not a feminist or anything haha, but I really enjoyed it.

Ok, I have to say Fatherland. It's amazingly well written with a suspenseful plot. Brilliance!
And my favourite author is Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.

that's easy, the best book i ever read was piers anthony's "Firefly" it really grabbed me and pulled me in.
by the second chapter you will care about the charicters and hope they live happily ever after.
