I have a digital box top which works very well. However, I cannot work out how to make my video player-recorder work through the box top, which it should do. What am I doing wrong??????

Your video player-recorder has to be digital too. If it's not you need a splitter.

i'm assuming once you assert video participant you mean a DVD participant or a VCP (havent seen one in a on a similar time as) or which you do no longer intend to checklist. if so the different all and sundry is precise. connect the output from the video participant into the AUX enter on your television. then use the television distant to regulate between usual television gazing and the video participant. if it replaced right into a vcr and you had to be able to checklist, you're able to hook the output from the digital field to the enter of the vcr and then the output from the vcr to the television you greater often than not get greater effective image high quality in case you stay away from using coax cable connections. once you do this it motives the sign to be modulated to bypass on channel 3, and then run interior the direction of the television tuner. i'm hoping that's clever

Hi I am assuming that you are a UK resident and if so the back of your Video should have Two SCART sockets AV1 and AV2 connect the digitat box to AV1 and the TV to AV2 stick a tape in the video and play it flick through the TV channels until you can see the video playing, Stop the tape then tune the video to the digi box. then throw away your TV and VIDEO's remote controllers I am afraid your days of watching one channel and recording another are probably over. The wonders of modern technology.

Using scart leads, connect the digi box to the video machine then to the tv. When you record set the video to record the AV input and set the digi box to the channel you want to record and leave the digi box on.

Hi, Connect your digital box to your VCR and then your VCR to your TV. Hope this helps, shouldn't be difficult

Cables go from Digital BOX ==> Input of VCR
Then
Cables go from Output of VCR ==> To TV

If you still need clearification please feel free and contact me.
Thanks......Peace
