anyone ever talked extensivley with an Arab? a Jew?
All I keep hearing is "We should nuke the middle east!" and "ALL ARABS ARE TERRORISTS!!" Nobody can say anything intelligent except for let's bomb them, Israel is right, all arabs are wrong end of story.

When it comes to ourselves there is always two sides to a story but when it comes to others, that statement doesn't apply.

Is anyone willing to learn truly about both sides then form an opinion?
Or do people just want to regurgitate catch phrases and key words they hear from the media and roll with that?

Because after all the TV is the best form of education.

Yes there are suicide bombers, and yes they are blowing up Israelis..but WHY?

Questions why a person would feel like that is thier last resort? Put yourself in that position. Think about it. What would drive you to blow yourself up?

Let me give you an example:
You have a bazooka, a hand grenade, an AK 47 and an M-16.

I have, a six shooter, a sling shot, and a .22.

You use your powerful weapons against mine, yes my weapons can do damage but not nearly as much as yours. What else can I use?

I'm a conflicted soul then.

My mother is Jewish and my father is Muslim.
My mother is an Israeli and my father is Lebanese.

I know boths sides. I know both sides very well.
I have great grandparents who suffered unbearable pain in that hands of Nazi's

and I have grandparents who were kicked out of their homes so a new nation can be built.

I know both sides very well. I grew up hearing and seeing the hate, the racism against arabs and the racism against the jews. With me caught in the middle.

That's not the question of the night!

I'd be ignoring people saying things like nuke the middle east, and if you take the All Arabs Are Terrorists type statements litterally, then that's your problem. I think most people know this is not true, and those that don't aren't worth listening to.

I know several Jews and Arabs and their take is one of a moderate view. It is only the extremist that want to annihilate Israel. The problem is that other Arab countries; Egypt, Iran, Jordan, etc. do not exactly disagree with this notion. They neither agree nor disagree in public but continue to support radical Islamist groups like Hezbollah. Not all Arab’s are terrorists and dislike how these groups portray the Arab world. The real problem is that these groups have all the money and hand it out to the people of the country which gains supporters. The people, although they deeply and secretly want democracy, are afraid to stand up against these radical groups for fear of retaliation.

Nobody take the "let's nuke 'em" gang seriously. And yes I have spoken with each. You obviously have not been in the same questions I have been in. I have seen many knowledgeable answer amongst the many silly ones. I'm not quite sure what your question was? You are making a sweeping statement and I'm wondering how can you say that the research has not been done when the answers are written? TV is NOT the best for of education. It is only a form, and can be very biased. Your best form is experience, seeing for yourself. Open your eyes, sometimes it not gray, it is Black and White.

people say stupid things like that because they're stupid people. and are unable to process complex thoughts like who is telling the truth. that having been said we are engaged in a war not with Jews or Arabs but with strict Islamic interpretation and a 100 percent belief that they are right and all peoples must "see the light" or be put to the sword. and that view must either be eliminated with extreme prejudice or be pushed so far out to the periphery (like the KKK) as to be unimportant.

Please note: there is a difference between right and wrong. There is good and evil in this world.

Nevertheless remember, not all Muslims are terrorist but virtually all terrorist are Muslims.

It's ok to make generalizations if they are true.

I have spoken at length with a Jewish woman.

She spoke of her grandparents surviving the concentration camp and how she was taught that the Jewish people were never going to suffer at the hands of anyone else for their faith.

knowing many of both. the arabic faith is muslim which is the quran teaching that all non-believers must die. out of 6 billion people in the world. 1.6 billion are muslim. many are terrorist and the few that are not must abide by the quran laws of faith helping out any terrorist or die themselves. the only side is they belive that mohammad who was a nut prophet even by his own family and village standards threw him out. he claimed to have talked to his god allah. it wasn't until over 200 years after his death with no records that the quran was written. its only about 700 years old now.

everyone is so ignorant these days...look beneath appearances...being a canadian living in the states...i was asked time and time if i lived in an igloo up there....for real!!!....sadly people will always be like that..its human nature...don't hold yer breath for us to change anytime soon...
