Its an assault of course.
Probably your country hadn't yet got real freedom. ;) An Indian poet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bharathiar) had said "I would call it real freedom only when a woman can walk on the road, alone at midnight without any security concerns.
Book a complaint. Instead of chasing them, you should have first noted down the car's number.

Yikes. I suppose it's assault, but you probalby would've had to call the cops when it happened. I understand you have have PTSD, but try to realize that some people are just ******* by nature. If it wasn't you, it would've been someone else. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Don't take it personal. What are you gonna do if you find the car anyway?? Maybe you should let it go before you do something irrational and get yourself into trouble.

Are you crazy. Why would you do something as stupid as try and chase a car with 4 men in it at night. Of course it's an assault. You should of tried to see their license plate number and immediately went back into your house, locked the doors and called the police. You're lucky they didn't do something worse the second time. Think before you act and it could save your life.

Is is assault - yes. However, as assault is a criminal offense as opposed to a civil offense, you as the Plaintiff will be charged with the burden of proof. That means you have to prove your case to the judge by a preponderance of the evidence; and unless you had witnesses, the events you described are quite hard to PROVE in a court of law. Good luck.

You should call police now. It doesn't matter what the charge will be. Start writing down what you remember now while everything is fresh in your mind.
I'm not sure why you were "looking for" your car. If it's not in a good neighborhood, ask the policeman who comes to take your report in assisting you get to your car.

It's assault all right, regardless of whether you charge them or not. Call the police if you have a description of the car, they may have a file on them already. I'm sorry they did that to you.

It's pathetic, that's what it is.
You can call the police to tell them about it without filing a real report. That way at least the police know something is happening and can correlate that with other reports.

i doesn't purposely humiliate the advances females have made because I see it as being beneficiant and well mannered. If she has a difficulty with that, she is a feminist douchebag who places her love of feminism over basic courtesy. actual i'd likely enlarge the courtesy to a small guy too if he requested me too. yet i received't furnish. i don't understand.

I'm sorry you had to deal with those thugs! It's probably too late now, but you should have called the cops immediately to file a report. Find a way to let it go. Stay safe.
