The Netherland Hilton sold out first (mid 80's I think) It became the Omni Netherland Plaza and then the Terrace Hilton was still a Hilton the last time I was downtown.... (5-6 yrs ago)

A close friend of mine lived in both of those hotels (at separate times of course) His dad worked for Hilton and was the GM at the Netherland until it was sold. He then took the GM position at the Terrace Hilton on 6th St. I believe he quit working for Hilton in the early 90's....

I don't know. I remember it being a Hilton Hotel for years and then it wasn't anymore and the Hilton bought out The Omni Netherland Plaza (I liked that name better). I don't know if it all happened around the same time or not.
These hotels change hands so much though.

The Millennium used to be The Clarion which used to be a Stoeuffer hotel. Go figure.
