I say, no thanks, bye. Because if you are polite and listen once, you can expect them again, and again, and again, and .............

Well, I bark at the Mormons who come to my door, not because I am anti-Mormon, but the last one actually stuck his foot in my door(rather threatening!). When I told him I would call my dog, he said he didn't believe I had one. I told him that since he was, in fact correct, I would just do the job myself. People tend to leave you alone then.
No Jehovah's Witnesses have been round yet.

Well any time someone regardless comes to my door and I dont know them and they arnt with comcast, look distressed or something like that the first thing i say is im not intrested so if they continue to try and talk to me I just shut the door in their face. If they continue to harass answering the door with a gun always makes them leave.

I just wanted to say thank you to the people who actually answer the door and listen to what we have to say. You have no idea what this really means to us especially if we just started preaching or have had a hard time in the past even if you decide your not interested thank you for your time

Some came to my door a few months ago and I just told them that I was sorry but I'm an atheist. They were very nice and I was nice to them. They said thank you and wished me to have a good day and that's the last time I saw them.

One time, when I was a bit younger, my friends and I said that we weren't interested because we worshiped Satan, but we would gladly convert them. That was pretty immature, but they didn't come back and we all looked like a bunch of goth-punks.
Now, I would answer the door and let them know that I'm Pagan, which I really am, and thanks anyways. Maybe I'm still immature, but at least I'm honest.

One time I totally led them on like I was interested even though I told them I was pentacostal. They came back several more times reading me a new pamphlet every time. Then on the fifth visit when they invited me to thier church I told them I wasn't interested but thanked them for thier time. They looked at me with confused looks and finally left me alone.

I preach to them and totally stump em... Its funny because my mom is a JW !!! I know a lot about the bible and the gospel and she is clueless as to what she is talking about and how to answer my questions to her or validate the things she believes in.....They do hold a lot of truths in their doctrine ,Like not smoking and treating thier bodies like a temple (if you could say thats what They do), no fornication, no homosexuality, etc. etc....

My dog barks her brains out while I sit there and ignore them ringing the doorbell. (My tv room is very visable from the door) It's mean but I don't want to convert.
