I agree that it might not be safe. There are lots of people searches available online. There's even one on yahoo. You might have to try a few before you find a really reliable one. I included a link to a page listing many. I just searched for "people search" on yahoo. Good luck!

that could be very dangerous for that person
it could also get you into alot of trouble.
I would put the name up and see if anyone
recognizes the name and if they do
ask them questions that only a person who knows the other
would know
