Many people 4 months ago didn't even think they could have a .500 season.

They are my pick ..
It really is basically between them and the white sox .. The Tigers starting pithcing is just too dominate .. not to mention the white sox starters wouldnt be winning on any other team (with the exception of contreras) . all there starters ERA's are just too high .. but with Verlander, Rogers, Bonderman, Miner, and Robertson .. wow .. i dont think any other team has a rotation even close to that .. the sox have better bats but, there isnt any team who has better hitters than them .. although the tigers have great bats too .. who would of thought they could do this with out there supposably best batter last year in Dimitre Young..
and all together this team plays like a real TEAM ..

That is very possible.

If we win The Central Division Title, we should play the winner from The West Division....that should be a cakewalk.

If we win the wild card we would likely play the red sox (yankees stay home), and that would be a tougher fight.

Although, in a 5 game series (such as the Divisional Series is) our chances are better than in a 7 game series (against either East winner).

Then we play Chicago for The American League Championship.

That will go 7 games, and will boil down to pitching.

If that is the case, I hope Chicago has home field advantage because The Tigers are killers on the road.

The Tigers will definitely be in the fight for the World Series. Forget any team in the AL West, they don't factor in. This will be between the Tigers, White Sox, Red Sox, and Yankees. Either the Yanks or BoSox are going to be left out come the post-season, and it will come down to the Tigers and White Sox in the ALCS. The Tigers will go on to the W/S to beat the Mets in 7.

As a Tiger fan I sure hope they do and I do like there chances if they can pick up a left-handed power hitter by the trade deadline. Looking forward to this series with the White Sox.

As long as they beat those rotten White Sox for the division, I'll be happy.

I'd like to see the Angels or the Blue Jays win, since those are my two favorite teams. But, if neither of them goes to the series, I'll be rooting for whoever plays the White Sox and/or Yankees.

I still dont think they are gonna win the world series but I do have to admit I am one of the people who thought they would have fizzled out by now and they havent. They seem to be the real deal and should make the playoffs.

Nope. The Mets will win the World Series because they have the best offense in the league.

no way, I used to be a diehard fan, but after last year and this year something fishy about them.. onl;y a handful of the guys gave a damm last year, those are the guys I root for. I'm still cheering the SOX and the Twins.

Wouldn't that be sweet!? Why not? Teams seem to come out the blue to win it all now and the Tigers have the pitching which is key.
