Hey Tara
For boys, only black and dark grey, no matter if they dress the same as the gloom groom ... Indian brides usually wear red, right? and to be honest in Hindus religion Black is not considered auspisious in wedding be it summer or winter hardly back is worn for hindus wedding. may combination of black with sum may do but complete black will not look that good

if the wedding is during the day..do not wear it! promise me you will be as hot as hot can be. in the late afternoon like...7:00..sure..but besides that wear something else with color. anything but black..even though you might think u want to wear black..its gonna be hott. but whatever its ur decision
