In 2002 Bill Clinton told a Jewish audience “The Israelis know that if the Iraqi or the Iranian army came across the Jordan River, I would personally grab a rifle, get in a ditch, and fight and die,”

Why not? I doubt Bill will go though, since he's a coward draft-dodger, but Hillary might go, since she looks like she has more "balls".

I am not familiar with this quote.....The Jordan river seperates Israel from Jordan so if a hostile army managed to cross this river Israel would be in serious danger. By this quote, I am guessing that Clinton meant that if the existance of Israel was in danger, he would willingly give his life in defense of Israel. No where did he mention about being a peacekeeper.

Even though the current situation in the middle east is very unstable, the actual existance of Israel has not been threatened. Therefore, the comment would not be relevant.

Well, I think the two Clinton's would do just fine. Bill is well liked through-out the World. He could probably negotiate a peace between all the warring parties, except Bush. Nobody can talk to Bush unless you read Bush's script which his lap-dog staff will provide.
Hillary on the other hand could probably talk the Iraqi's into placing Saddam back in Power so that we can bring troops home and retire Bush to a permanent alcoholic stupor at the Ranch.
Sounds like some good thinking to me.
Thanks for Asking.

If Iran invades Israel I say that we send Clinton over there with a rifle along with about 200,000 of our troops, 2 aircraft carriers, a few thousand missiles, a thousand jets, a few hundred tanks and our teams of logistic masters.

Clinton "peacekeeping" means appeasement and caving in to the demands of the bully, thereby making them stronger for the next innevitable assault. No, Clinton policy, while it may seem effective in the short term, is not how you deal with the festering wound of radical Islam.
