Yep. "Then they questioned him, saying: 'teacher, when will these things actually be, and what will be the sign when these things are destined to occur?'" ... "Furthermore, when you hear of wars and disorders, do not be terrified. For these things must occur first, but the end does noes occur immediately. Then he went on to say to them: 'Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another pestilences and food shortages; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs'". (Luke 21:7; 9-11)These signs of the end of this world have happened before, but never All at the same time. Its something to think about.

Personally, I think that the USA should become an Islamic state. We are already good at hating everybody. And as long as it did not interfere with our daily materialistic lives, the neo-Ameri-lamics would probably be okay with it. But soon, we would learn that we have to pray five times a day, and that would certainly put a damper on watching our favorite television shows; but the kicker, "Wadda ya mean, I can't drink no more!"
Why would China, Russia, and most of Europe want to take a stand against terrorism? As long as the USA, UK, and Israel exist, the former are relatively safe. The Middle East countries hate us, not the others, per say.
Do you really think the uneducated, fat-cat, Americans really care? I mean, honestly, what do we get pissed about? Gas prices. As long as we don't feel it in the wallet, we won't care!
However, we are party to this mess; after all, it is our "NEED" for oil that pumps millions of dollars into the Middle East, funding what? Bombs!
I truly believe that Americans are so selfish, that we would even accept limited terrorist attacks as long as they were in some other state and didn't affect our entertainment opportunities.
The ironic thing about this is that America is slowly killing itself; and we are oblivious to it.
The bright side? At least we won't see it coming - there will be less anxiety; and hopefully we will die with a full stomach at our favorite bar listening to our favorite band wearing our Koolest sneakers while talking on our cell phone.

This question seems to be based on religious dogma. People of extremist religious views have been acting out the part of chicken little since the beginning of time.
The only thing that is currently a threat that will end the world is our abuse of the environment.
Forget about terrorism. Ecological destruction is the scariest thing facing us today.

the bible. So be prepared. If not. Well, have a nice after life. Either way there will never be such a thing as peace in this world as
long as evil and sin exist in this world. However I do think we should
keep trying to do the best we can by getting rid of the extremists!

the end has begun long ago, we are in the throes of it though, who knows what the end really means. Maybe that is when terrestrials come and tell us how it is, maybe GOD calls us all home, maybe POOF! we are all dead. Meanwhile, keep living well, keep the LOVE going - it's all about the LOVE
