if you were walking down the street one day, and you found a black feather, in which hades morphed out of when you picked it up, and he asked you this... "i will give you one day, in my position as lord of the underworld, but i get to live in your position, and if i make at least three people happier than with you, i get to stay as you. and of course, i don't have powers, though you do, and you'll have to stay in my position.

No, you can't trust Satan.
He's the ultimate Stranger.

And there's no proof he could give you that will satisfy.
Because there's no basis to trust, and it could be a fabrication.

And if he appeared, then it would confirm God.
So it would be wrong-minded to follow Satan in any capacity...
If you know there's a God stronger than him.

But then again the testaments could be all written by Satan,
to make the naive believe in God-- the manifest contradiction in outer outer space-- when they are just identifying themselves very clearly so He, Satan, can make sure they don't get into his VIP club of eternity.

If that's the case, then why the hell would I NOT give up my body to be lord of the underworld-- sounds damn fun.

All we know is the Bible says he's a liar.
But the Bible has questionable authority.
God certainly never told me Satan is a Liar.
God never even made it minutely clear that He is so great.

Why the hell would Satan WANT to make my life miserable?
Seriously I don't understand the motivation.
Isn't he supposed to be defying God?
If he's punishing us for our sins-- isn't that Helpful to God

If he appeared, I'd tell him there's alot of heresay
Tell me why I should believe you.

If he said Yes or NO!
I'd think he's a lunatic. No goddamn way I ever pick Yes
if someone asked that.

If he gave me a plausible alternative history, as to why he's better than God, which I'm predisposed to say he is since Heaven seems like a stupid place for priests and conformist, blind-fath idiots-- If he gave me plausible evidence I'd pretty much buy it. The other story is not convincing at all.

How do we trust someone who's been stereotyped as a liar?
And yet we don't have knowledge That he is.
And he has power to convince at his hands.

And if we Don't choose-- heaven or hell is confirmed, and we may be Stuck going to heaven.

You have to choose one or the other, and Satan is actually in front of you. He gives us a wager. It's a gamble, a bet... So does that mean if we lose, we lose? And if he wins, he wins? It's not so clear. But why the wager, why this "temptation" game? If there's nothing to it, and it's just a ruse.. then it is deceptive and he can't be trusted. If there IS something to it, then are we not to assume that when we lose, we really lose? And it's obvious he will win.

Okay, I'm done thinking for the moment. But this still doesn't rule out him just appearing and asking "heaven or hell" -- that case I would have to side with hell-- but it's just an intuition.

I would tell him no. It would be far to easy to make three people happier, they could be people that you've never met.

Besides, I like being me. And anyways, if the position 'Lord of the Underworld' is so cool, why would he want to be rid of it?

If the lord of the underworld wanted to give up his job so badly he'd be willing to risk it at all, no way.

I see no benifit in his offer, he is the true "winner" here, getting to escape from hell and stuff like that. So no I would not take his offer.
