Yes. By asking if someone believes in the "occult", you include alot under that umbrella. Including much of history and science.
Since most of history is based upon conjecture and theory, and much has yet to be discovered about our world, let alone reality in general. There is way more left unknown, or "hidden", than is truly known. All these things left in the dark, are "occult" subjects.

Absolutely. Occult simply means hidden. Some occult knowledge was hidden or prohibited as it went against the teachings of the church or corrected church theories, lessening the grip that the church had on the people.
I believe in the occult and study it.

There are really "people" in the occult lifestyle, but if what they do is real or not. I would say yes with some people and probably no with others. This is probably not the kind of answer you are looking for though. If not, sorry and good luck.
