I think you are not getting the braces until you have the money to pay for them. I suspect your dentist will make sure he doesn't start attaching things to your teeth until he has some money in his account.
Doctors and business people can be funny that way sometimes.

Find a different orthodontist or move to a different state! I just put braces on my daughter and it's only costing around $1500. Are you sure you aren't getting ripped off?

Ask the dentist for all the teeth he has pulled with gold in them. Then melt the gold, sell to commodities trader. Insert braces...Have a great day!

Many orthodontists have financing arrangements that they can line-up for you to have the work done. Pay for it over time.
Just don't put off necessary work simply because you can't afford it "right now".

usually they have the option of paying monthly and its about 200 or 300 dollars a month and you just send it in every month
