the lump is hard and tender to touch,more tender when menstrual cycle starting.my daughter very scared that its cancer.she went to have lump diagnosed thru needle biopsy,but could not be done because lump was not visible on screen although very easy to feel.

I have those type of lumps also. They do get tender with my cycle. I have been told they are cysts, my mother has them too. If you still don't feel good about the diagnosis get another doc's opinion.

You dont know the facts so dont think so negatively , for your health and your daughters .Your best bet is to keep going to the doctor . A teen age girl's breast normally gets tender around the time she's about to get her period or when she does have it .
