You don't or won't ever know, but you should act as if you are. You are obviously a muggle. Keep your eyes open for the odd or the inexplicable.- Try not to get caught noticing or you'll be made to forget it.

Do you walk around wearing a pointy hat and cape? Do you carry a wand?? Do you attend Hogwarts?? If the answers to these questions are no, then you are not a wizard!! Wizards do not exist!! Because there's no way the witches and wizards of the Wizarding world would have allowed J.K. Rowling to publish her books and unveil their hidden world to us dumb Muggles if it was true. I think you can rest assured that you're not unknowingly living side-by-side with plug-collecting wizards, however.
