Hey one minus five, this virgin thing is really getting old. Other than the fanatical Muslim you watch on Fox, no Muslim (and we are talking roughly a billion of them) lives by that. Stop the crap and get a life.

The Qur'an does not mention a number of virgins as a reward in Heaven (jannah). Also this is not limited to martyrs but all men who enter jannah.
The concept comes from Hadith Al-Tirmidhi in the Book of Sunah (volume IV, chapters on The Features of Paradise as described by the Messenger of Allah, chapter 21, About the Smallest Reward for the People of Paradise. The same hadith is also quoted by Ibn Kathir in his Koranic commentary (Tafsir) of Surah Al-Rahman:
"The Prophet Muhammad was heard saying: 'The smallest reward for the people of paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby, as wide as the distance from Al-Jabiyah [a Damascus suburb] to Sana'a [Yemen]."
This is what is mentioned in the Qur'an:
Theirs are Gardens underneath which rivers flow. ... There for them are pure companions.--2:25
Virgins await those who enter paradise. 2:25
It's OK to have sex with your wives on the night of the fast. 2:187
Have sex with your women whenever, however, and as often as you like. 2:223
