That's a tricky one... There are MANY online games that can be conderised the best... the problem is most aren't free unless you know what you're doing... and some of it might be... somewhat illegal...

Runescape(runescape.com) is pretty popular these days. So is Adventure Quest (battleon.com)...
Maple Story is another. Gunz, which is more along the lines of Halo.
