If the u.s. gets involved it will certainly not be to help lebanon.
Lebanon is harboring the Hezbollah. A terrorist organization that
is now in control of Lebanon. If Lebanon is worried about its people
then maybe it should have been worried in the 1st place and took
out Hezbollah! Israel is just defending themself. Up until they
were attacked with rockets from Hezbollah and had 2 of their
soldiers kidnapped they were following everything the U.N. had
requested of them. However lebanon did not follow the resolution
1559 from the UN which stated that they were to disban the
Hezbollah. So I do not feel sorry for Lebanon and support Israel
completely. If cuba bombed Miami and kidnapped our soldiers
I'm sure we would not restrain ourselves from defending our
country! Plus Israel has no oil and don't you people get it yet!
Our president is not after oil! It would do us no good! Our
democrats in the U.S. won't let us build any refineries and we
don't have enough to handle all the oil in the world much less the
oil we have in reserves which is enough to last us decades!

LOL, its Beirut that is in the wrong. They did not remove the terrorists operating on their soil. An attack came from Lebanon to Israel. Israel must defend themselves from the people that swear to wipe them off the map.
Israel can handle this.
Not everything in the world is Bush's fault, this is just what you have been led to believe from the distgusting, anti-American liberals.
People like you offer continuous support to the nations and people that dispise us. Their aggressive actions are always the fault of America. Do you call yourself a patriot? You are disgusting. So like liberals to place the blame in all the wrong places. Make the criminal into the victim, disgrace the memories of the people who have died from their vicious attacks.

Hezbollah launched a few small attacks against Israel from Lebanon and in return Israel has hit Lebanon with full force. This is equal to one person being punched in the face and then retaliating against their attacker with a flame-thrower.
Let’s hope Bush keeps his nose out of this because he will only side with Israel.

As liberal as I am, I do not tolerate terrorist and the countries that harbor them. If Lebanon had the balls to regulate these thugs, then they wouldn't be in the predicament they are. The US has warned them and other countries several times about these groups.
War is ugly, and loss of innocent life is stupid. Something should be done to avoid that, but these terrorist need to be kept in check.

there is no oil in Israel. anyways Lebanon is getting bombed for their support of Hizbollah, who is launching rockets at villages and KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE. eye for an eye, ya know?
plus Hizbollah has carried out attacks on Americans, so why should we help a country that supports the killing of our own?

I have always said, knowledge is a gift that hurts. Just be glad your not ignorant, and actually see the world as it actually is. As I stated in my other posts, WW3 has begun, and G.W.B helped start it
