You should arrane them by color first, because usually color is the main factor in clothing. Then after arranging in color, find another section in your closet, or maybe a shelf if you don't have enough room and put the clothes that you mainly wear EVERYDAY. (: then you'll be organized and it'll be easy to look for stuff.

There is only one way to answer this mind-boggling question.. ;) You arrange them in order of their age. The one you just bought is at the front, and that torn up shirt from 8 years ago, to the back. Simple.. ;)

I have tried the color thing, the color and season thing, the color and style..and the only way it works for me is to put the shirts with a matched outfit, ready to wear, otherwise all I see are colors,ie..red blobs,green..blobs,..get the picture? Especially before coffee fix and before I shower..nothing makes sense! Matching makes my mornings less rushed..

By color. After you toss out the ones you have not used in over 2 years. This will help you layer and match. cheers.

Short sleeve and long sleeve.... and by season you wear them. Then have an area for ones you wear the most and want to grab and put on in a hurry.

you should do it by color,

Like others have said; colour. And once you have arranged them by colour you do type (i.e. short sleeve, long sleeve, tank, etc.).
