Normally i think the power cosmic could take out any other force but they are many lanterns in the corps, could their combined powers be a match for the power cosmic? or would galactus have then for a very good dinner?

yes they could hit him in many angles but galactus can take on whole fleets of space ships and has cosmic awareness, also would he show up as a big "Guardians of the Universe" or a big green lantern because he shows up as different for different planets

Galactus would win, he has a whole mess of hearlds he can call on especially the Silver Surfer...The Corps does't stand a snow balls chances in hell !!! Galactus has unlimited power cosmic, the Corps would have to re charge and once they tryed Galactus would use that time to his advantage and consume the lantern energy make the lanterncorps useless...but promise to grantthem there power back if they become his heralds...... nuff said.

I would have to say the Corps, though Galactus would not neccesarily be defeated. If Galactus went to Oa to feed, he would be backed by one herald. The strongest besides the Surfer would be his first herald, the nameless, or Stardust, his most recent. They would definetely fight him off and have the power to do so. Galactus has beaten many, but he has also lost to the liek of the Avengers, and I think the Corps would be far more powerful. Basically it would come down to if the entire Corps' willpower versus a being of natural order in the Universe. I think they could do it, but Galactus would not be setroyed, he would just find another planet to feed. So long Thanagar!!

I think they would be able to hit Galactus from so many different angles at once that his head would spin right off!
But you reminded me of an idea I had, long ago. Remember Hal Jordan when he went nuts after Coast City got destroyed and Carol Ferris died...? He went mad and killed a bunch of other GL's and took their rings...? There was a cover showing him with all the rings on.
What we need is to have a showdown between Hal with all the rings and the Mandarin!

cant really put marvel characters against dc characters... different "comic book physics" (if such a thing exists)... BUT, galactus is a cosmic diety, cant die, cant really be "defeated"... no contest imo... hed turn them into heralds eventually anyway...
