I start in the morning out of bed by drinking 2 glasses of water. Then for breakfast I either have a bowl of whole grain cereal with Total, Raisin Bran, Grapenuts, and a cup of tea with ginger or a cup of coffee with milk. If I dont have the cereal, I will eat a banana and small apple for breakfast with the coffee and go to work at like 8:15. I try to eat a few saltines by 11:30 if i feel nauseasou. But I do drink another glass of water.
At 12:30 I come home for lunch and either eat a cup of Breyers fruit yogurt and one slice of whole grain bread. Then i drink another glass of water. In the middle of lunch and dinner, i snack on a few more saltines if want, or may sip a little of gingerale At dinner time around 7 I eat chicken nuggets, grilled chicken and rice, or some kind of chicken so I get my protein along with carrot sticks sometimes or just the chicken itself with rice is fine.
Is this a healthy diet? I am also taking the Flinstones complete multivitamin. Do you

think this is a good/healthy diet? Or should I add some other food, snack, or something else that you think is also healthy? I know that fruits, veggies, and whole grains are the main source of my diet here.

Sounds like you are dieting which isn't healthy when you are pregnant. You also seem to be eating a lot of carbs (bread, cereal, rice) which are empty calories. It is recommended you add 300 calories to your normal diet to help support your baby.
I would suggest more veggies and protein and get some prenatal vitamins. Also, when it comes to tea do not drink green tea while pregnant. The chemical in green tea that fights cancer blocks the absorption of folic acid which is critical for your developing fetus.
As far as caffeine goes, 2 cups a day is okay. The whole discussion about caffeine while pregnant is it can increase your chance of miscarriage by up to 25% if you are prone to miscarriage. And since none of us really knows if we are prone to miscarriage it is recommended we don't drink any caffeine (that includes Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Mellow Yellow) while pregnant.

You sound as if you are doing a wonderful job as far as staying away from empty calories. :)
If you want more protein, but want to keep away from meat (it sounds like it to me) then nuts would be a good idea. I know that almonds are *superb* for protein. Or peanut butter on whole wheat bread.
Caffeine is not a good idea in early pregnancy. It has been known to cause birth defects. Is your morning coffee decaf?
You are getting a lot of water. How about milk? Your body *needs* calcium during this vital time. If you don't give it enough, the baby will get it from your bones, causing your bones to weaken.
In fact, anything you miss will be taken from your body. So make sure you get plenty of dairy, vitamin d and c, and protein.
Tuna (if you can tolerate it) would be a good idea as well. Or canned chicken (chikcen salad) or eggs on whole wheat bread would offer protein as well.
Are you taking pre-natal vitamins? Those are very important.
Good luck!!!
Edit: Do NOT drink orange juice. It has been shown to be worse for you than regular soda because of all the sugar.

First of all, I drank Starbucks double expresso everyday of my first pregnancy and he came out just fine, so ignore the "lay off caffiene" thing. Go get some prenatals from your OB for sure and take them ASAP in the morning unless you vomit too easily then take them at lunch. Eat LOTS of whole grains but not too much pasta unless you are underweight. Pasta adds pounds fast. Drink as much milk as you can, water too. In the later monthes you may have trouble getting the milk down add some chocolate syrup to it. At luch, definately add some meat or nuts. It doesn't sound like you are getting enough. Dinner sounds good but add a glass of milk and a dark green or yellow vege. Avoid fish more then once a week especially tilefish, roughy, shark, all sushi, octopus, squid, eel, flounder and tuna. Ask your OB for a complete list. Avoid unpasteruized anything.

The biggest thing you probably need to work on is ditching the flintstone vitamin for a prenatal vitamin. Prenatals have vitamins and minerals that your growing baby needs, like folic acid.
While this diet may be good for one day, variety is best. Spinach has different benefits than carrots, beef has different vitamins than chicken. Mix it up, and try new things.
Depending on how much you are eating of each food, you may not be getting enough calories for your growing child.
The most important thing when you're prego is to eat what you're hungry for--let your body tell you what it needs.

As long as you are getting your 5 fruits or veggies a day you are doing fine. Don't let people tell you that you should not drink your coffee. Some people are over-zealous when it comes to that. 2-3 cups of coffee a day is completely fine. Prenatals are better for you because it has the folic acid. Make sure you are getting at least 1,500 mg of calcium a day.

Skip the Flintstones, and get prenatal vitamins. Try alternating your chicken with fish, more good proteins, Also, add lots of leafy greens, like kale or spinach, if you've cut down on your red meats, to add iron back in to your diet. Anemia is a huge problem for pregnant women. Otherwise, you're good!

The diet you're on sounds OK but you need to be on prenatal vitamins, they don't have the massive amount of Iron that tend to make you feel sick but they do have all the things to help support a growing fetus!!

It sounds good but you may not be getting enough calories overall.
I would call your doctor if you are concerned with the amount of calories you need and they may direct you to a dietitian.
