Any ideas for getting a children's book author to come to our school?

I am trying to gather information about grants and/or "affordable author's" to invite to our school (in central Arkansas) this year.

i work in a Publishing company and its better if u forward ur request straight to the Publisher....this way they will be the one to arrange the meeting for you according to the availabilty of the writers....
