Try Hostel. I thought it was very scary, and gory. The Ring was scary, but you have probably already seen that one. Firewall was scary also, I thought., also maybe Cell phone. The first Jurassic Park and the War of the Worlds and the Terminator series was scary to me, but I am a science freak.

Horror movies these days are too cliche or have no plot to be scary. Saw and Saw 2 are somewhat scary though. The Hannibal Lecter series aren't very scary,but are totally awesome.

three is a really scary movie that came out in the early 80's called One Dark Night. It deals with the supernatural, and telechanetic powers, and corpses coming to life inside of a mausoleum while a young woman is inside for a club initiation. It just recently came out on DVD. Check it out.

a really scary movie about young adults - Requiem for a
Dream. If you're not 16, don't rent it. This movie isn't for kids.

at least i think it's called the gift - the movie about a clairvoyant Kate Blanchett, with Katie Holmes, Keanu Reeves, Hilary Swank, where kate blanchett's character tries to determine who killed katie holmes' character.
